Megan Bernard devotes her professional life to making transformative and meaningful higher education experiences accessible for all students. She earned her Ph.D. in 2012 in Rhetoric and Public Culture from
Northwestern University and joined the staff of Roosevelt University that fall. At Roosevelt she is responsible for the Honors Program, the newly formed campus-wide Mentor Program, and chairs the

Title IX and Sexual Respect Committee. She lives in Chicago with her husband Daniel and her young daughter Eleanor.
